Electronic Queue System Becomes Mandatory at the China–Kazakhstan Border

The CarGoRuqsat electronic queue system continues expanding across border checkpoints between Kazakhstan and China. Freight carriers are now required to pre-book crossing slots and obtain digital permits before arriving at the border.

Authorities say the system is intended to combat:
- border congestion;
- corruption schemes;
- multi-day truck queues.

For logistics companies, the new rules mean:
- stricter control over booked time slots;
- fines for queue violations;
- greater reliance on digital documentation;
- increasing pressure on unofficial transportation schemes.

Transport companies note that the system is gradually reducing congestion, although delays during peak periods remain an issue.
